Carbon Footprint Calculation
The Carbon footprint is defined, in very general terms, as the amount of greenhouse gases (GHG) emitted into the atmosphere from the production or consumption of goods and services, and is considered one of the most important tools for quantifying GHG emissions. These gases, regulated internationally since the Kyoto Protocol (1997), trap part of the heat emitted by the Earth's surface in the atmosphere, intensifying the greenhouse effect and accelerating climate change.

Some commonly estimated compounds are:

An Environmental Audit is a important tool for the evaluation of compliance with management and applicable environmental regulations, such as requirements of
Environmental Decontamination Plans (PDA), primary standards, secondary standards and
Environmental Qualification Resolutions (RCA), among other environmental laws,
constituting a key element to detect breaches and avoid legal sanctions in case of eventual audits by the environmental authority and contribute to improving and optimizing the environmental management system.
