Environmental Audit
An environmental audit lets you know, before the authority does, whether your company complies with the regulations and environmental commitments that apply to it. At KORU IASA we identify gaps, prioritise risks and give you a concrete action plan.
What is an environmental audit for?
It is a tool for assessing compliance with management systems and applicable environmental regulations: Environmental Qualification Resolutions (RCA), Atmospheric Decontamination Plans (PDA), emission and quality standards, sectoral permits and reporting obligations. Detecting non-compliance in time helps improve your environmental management and avoid sanctions in an eventual inspection by the Superintendence of the Environment (SMA), which can reach 10,000 UTA (annual tax units) per infringement.
What we review
- Compliance with the conditions and commitments of your RCAs.
- Requirements of atmospheric prevention and decontamination plans.
- Management of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, and management plans.
- Single Window (RETC) declarations and other reporting obligations.
- Permits, health authorisations and fuel declaration reports.
- Environmental management systems and internal audits.
- Compliance audits under the REP Law (Law 20,920).

Frequently asked questions
How often should we audit?
We recommend at least once a year, and always before significant operational changes or when an inspection is approaching.
Does an audit replace an inspection?
No. It is a preventive, independent assessment that lets you close gaps before the authority identifies them.
